Today on the Shelf is located deep in the Heart of Austin, TX on Colorado Street. This lonely cubicle shelf is brought to life each and every day...almost.
Wow! This pic is so deep. There are so many issues to address. I don’t know where to start. Well let’s start with the end. Why is the Indian the last in line for feeding? This is typical of American society. We steal their land and destroy their way of life, and then what do we do. Set up long lines of bureaucracy for them to go through. By the time it’s all said and done there’s nothing left but a bone.
I like how artist has shown the technology is the one providing the “food” for the masses; while the old tractor sits quietly in the background. This represents how the world is shifting from industrial age to a digital interconnected world.
